CO₂ Inflatable Underwater Demolition Team Life Preserver
The underwater demolition team (UDT) life preserver provides a minimum of 19 lbs buoyancy when inflated. The UDT is intended for use as emergency equipment by underwater demolition teams and is approved for use by the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command. This vest is currently being used in Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL training. SEALs use this life preserver for surface swimming, Hydro-Reconnaissance and Over-the-Beach missions.
Two arming options are available for the UDT Underwater Demolition Team Life Preserver for additional cost:
- Standard Inflator & Steel bottle (Trainer version) - 21 gram CO₂ cylinder
- Non-Magnetic (Special operations version) - 21 gram CO₂ cylinder
- Designed for tactical surface swimming
- Oval neck opening for ease of use
- 21 gram CO₂ cylinder & inflator (Trainer or Spec-Ops)
- Oral inflation tube with locking ring
- Single bladder made of heavy duty 1000 Denier Nylon
- Available in Grey
