The holster provides easy accessibility to the HEED and can be worn on a belt or sewn/velcroed onto a flight vest for very secure attachment. It includes a protective mouthpiece cover to prevent contaminants from entering the mouthpiece of the HEED. The mouthpiece cover is attached to the holster with a thin cable lanyard so that it is not lost when pulled from the HEED during the inspection or cleaning.
