Description
The ACES II Ejection Seat Stabilizing Drogue Parachute System (LSI P/N: PAR-1610-00) is deployed during moderate and high speed ejections. The Drogue parachute System deploys immediately after the seat leaves the rail, approximately 0.16 seconds during mode two and three escape sequences. The ACES II Ejection Seat Stablilizing Drogue Parachute system stabilizes seat altitude and trajectory while decelerating the seat velocity.
