The Stokes Litter is designed to rescue persons from locations where lengthy foot travel is mandatory. Available as 1-Piece or 2-piece (break-away). Built to US MIL SPECS RR-L-1997 and MIL-L-37957, it is load tested at 2,500 lbs.

The One-Piece Stokes Rescue Litter (RS-8131) consists of steel, all welded rigid construction, which does not rely on injured persons to attain form or rigidity. Stainless Steel Stokes litter is welded entirely of 3/4" and 3/8" tubing (no flat straps that bend easily). Made of steel, all welded rigid construction, which does not rely on injured persons to attain form or rigidity. The litter includes board, wire basket, and strap kit. Light in weight and ample in size, this is a heavy-duty Stokes Litter, fully suitable for technical rescue operations.  Standard issue is with leg divider, can be ordered without leg divider.

The
Two-Piece Stokes Rescue Litter (RS-0452) is designed to rescue injured persons from locations where lengthy foot travel is mandatory. The stretcher can be broken into two halves which can be back-packed to the point of rescue and assembled in seconds. The length of the litter can be shortened for storage or transport, by nesting the foot section inside the head section. It can be secured to a standard back-pack for carrying. Standard issue is with leg divider, can be ordered without leg divider.

Three positive lock clamps secure the two halves together. Four 60" web straps are standard. Long steel rods are used to minimize strength loss and make field assembly easy. It is suitable for horizontal or vertical lifting.

Built to U.S. military specifications RR-L-1997 and MIL-L-37957, it is load tested at 2,500 lbs.
