Lifesmoke MK9 is a buoyant orange smoke signal safe to operate on petrol or oil-covered water. The signal consists of a metal case containing smoke composition and is fitted with a simple pull-cord ignition.
For use in distress situations, the MK8 buoyant signal provides an unmistakable smoke trail. Suitable for commercial and recreational boaters, it can also be used by helicopter crews to give an indication of wind speed and direction. - Grasp ring firmly.
- Pull sharply upwards.
- Throw signal overboard downwind.
