Survival Kit, Individual Survival Aircrew Module (ISAM)

The Individual Survival Aircrew Module (ISAM) is a one-person individual modular survival kit.  The ISAM features 2 independently vacuum packed modules (Medical & Survival) packed into a drawstring pouch.  Designed to replace many of the legacy individual aviation survival components issued and placed in various pouches, pockets, etc. the ISAM puts all necessary survival gear in an extremely small lightweight pouch.  The ISAM is designed with modern upgraded survival aids, splitting the kit into 2 modules enables ALSE personnel ease of management, and long term cost reduction.  The Medical Module has 4 year shelf life while the Survival Module has no shelf life.  In addition the pouch contains Anti-Pilfer tabs preventing inadvertent pilferage and shop control of the kits.   The contents were thoroughly reviewed and independently tested by 160th US Army Special Operations SOAR(A).  

The complete ISAM measures just 5” x 5” x 2 ¾” and weighs just 12 ½ oz.
